It's absolutely chaotic around Fisherman's Wharf, so don't panic in the rush of people and get to Pier 41 early, as the line forms fast for each of these tours.
There are expensive lots, but if you're lucky, you can find meter parking in the neighboring streets. Very lucky indeed.
