Used Parking Panda to book a parking space which turned out to be at the Westin Hotel, which turned out when we got there to be having a strike, so that was awkward. It's a very steep walk from the Westin up to the Marines Memorial; if you aren't spry allow extra time.
We drove and found parking on the street. The show was at 8pm so finding parking wasn't so bad.
Marines' Memorial Theatre is accesible by BART, short walk. There are several lots near-by, costly, but, I prefer Sutter-Stockton Garage for reasonable priced parking
A few blocks from the theatre & a short walk from the Powel Street BART, is Puccini & Pinetti @ 129 Ellis. Reservations for dinner begin at 5 pm. Ask for a booth & dine on seafood, meat & or pasta, coupled with inspired cocktails & ending with affogatto (espresso + gelato).
Scrooge in Love!
Good for young children.
I took an Uber and Surge pricing was absurd after the show. A co-rider said he toggles between Lyft and Uber to find the best prices during peak times. Good to know.
