Ate at Boulevard's and Uber'ed to the theatre. It was a little tight but we made it just in time. Make sure to tell your waiter about your plans.
The weather was cool and wet. I wore Slacks and sport coat but many were dressed way more casual..
I took the BART from Berkeley in the station is right next to the theater. Very convenient.

Parking near the capitol building is free after 6 pm it's only 1.5 blocks from the Orpheum Theatre.
I took Cal train to the last stop which was fourth and king. Then I was stuck! I called uber and they said to go to the round about. Nobody knew what that meant. I kept asking and the locals knew. Go to the corner and turn left. Walk half block. It's on the left. You will pass a Safeway sign. It's sort of looks like a court yard between two tall buildings. Go through and that is where the round about is. It's only for Uber types
We parked next to the Golden Gate theater for $20 most lots fill up early some can be reserved Leave time for traffic issues
Bart exit is at the entrance of the Orpheum Theatre. I will never drive again.
If you are able, taking BART is the way to go. Literally steps from the Orpheum. It was nice to travel without the stress.
The weather was EVENING, CHILL. I wore ALL 4 OF US WORE CASUAL DRESS ITEMS. OTHERS WERE IN EVENING WEAR. SUMMER PERFORMANCES AT THE ORPHEUM HAVE ALLOWED SHORTS. DRESS CODE NOT TOO STRICT.
The weather was Chilly. I wore A sweater and if sitting on balcony wear warmer clothes Cathy.
We were told to park in a lot over street parking. We ended up at Civic Center for $21 (a little over 6 hours) which for SF is good, but two other families we went with parked on the street for free and had no trouble. I had been warned not to street park so you do take a chance.
The weather was mild, but chilly.. I wore a work like dress and tights. You see everything. Personally, I like to dress a little more than casual for the theater..
