Ate at Sam's Diner (small place less than a block from theater). It has a menu based on the Motown theme (menu changes witht he show).
Enjoyed delicious culinary delights and great customer attention at Gigi's Sotto Mare Oysteria & Seafood located at 552 Green Street (btwn Columbus & Grant)
Please do not bring food(leftovers) into the theatre as it is such close quarters and as not everyone appreciates the foods you might enjoy, the odors can become pretty noxious after a few hours and NEVER eat your leftovers in the seats. Its just gross and messy.
Picked up will-call tickets early and then walked 1 block to a Mediterranean cafe. Food was superb and the right price for us
The weather was sunny and warm. I wore slacks and shirt. Brought a coat but didn't need at all.
Park in the Civic Center garage. You will have to walk about 2 or 3 blocks to get to the play. The Orpheum Theater is not located in a nice area
I wore casual wear with a down vest. Saw ONE guy even with shorts on!.

We tried Sam's Diner for the first time; it is about a half block from the theater. The food was good and the staff was friendly.
