We had to wait an hour before the performers arrived. Performance was only below average.
Apart from a mandatory spending of $15 in the restaurant which we saw the performance in, there's another mandatory $16 gratuity charge for the performance. And may I repeat-it wasn't even good!
Because it was in a restaurant, it felt like the performance should have come with it. What about the patrons who came to the restaurant just for the food, would they have to be forced to pay for the pathetic performance which they may not want?
At the end of the performance, more tip was asked at the table. Unbelievable. It's dishonest, misleading and downright greedy on so many levels.
Have I mentioned about the food yet? Not great and pricey for what it is.
Never again.
If you're not into vegan, eat before you go. Expensive drinks and desserts. Small place. Get there early.
You might do well to dine elsewhere- lots of local good food choices.
You might like the show- the guitarist was good & the castanet playing & high energy of younger woman waswell received by the crowd. You might do better to dine elsewhere & then just come for the show.
Very interesting Bolivian platters. Show starts at 7:30. Doors open at 6. Get there early if you want to eat so you can enjoy the show. Other choice is 2-drink minimum with show.
The weather was Cool, San Francisco night. . I wore Wear whatever you like, casual is okay, but don't pass up the opportunity to be a little bit classy. The dancers create an authentic Spanish/continental experience, and you can add to your own enjoyment by being a bit refined as well....
Parking right next door or across the street, $15. Don't even try to find parking in this neighborhood on a Saturday night.
