The later in the day (especially the last two departure times are much less crowded, but the also won't let you sit in the first few rows due to weight distribution. Also sit toward the center aisle if you don't want to get wet. :)
Half way in to the ride, they stop at McCovey Cove by AT&T Park for a "photo op" & I recommend that you wait until then to use your camera. The twists & turns during the ride are very unpredictable (part of the fun) so the risk of losing the camera is quite high.
The weather was windy...especially @ 45 MPH. I wore Ski Parka with zipper pockets. DO NOT wear a hat of any kind...it WILL blow off..
The weather was comfortable on shore.. I wore a windbreaker as the speed creates a lot of wind..
Don't bring a car, you tourist you! Take public transportation or a cab. It's the Wharf, for heaven's sake!
The weather was sunny but you'll definitely feel the wind on this ride. Be prepared! . I wore a light jacket - even though the sun was warm because you will definitely get some salt water spray on this ride! I put the hat, sunglasses and earrings in a small bag that I kept safe so I didn't lose anything on this speedy ride. Sun screen instead of a hat is a good idea, or a light weight hooded jacket! .
The weather was sunny luckily but it could be very cold on a foggy day. .
Your ticket is only general admission. First come first served. Note: There can be wait lines so be prepared.

From the East Bay take BART to the Embarcadero. Take the street trolley to Pier 39. Great way to see the city!

The weather was windy. I wore a hoodie and light pants. They will give you a poncho if you're worried about getting wet.
I wore a waterproof windbreaker, make sure you dress in layers and be prepared to get your hair wet!!.
The weather was mid 60's. I wore jeans & jacket as a bit of a chill. Use a pony tail if long hair. Get in line 1/2 hr ahead as advised. Right near Pier 39. Hardly got wet @ front 6th row. .
