Have lunch (crepes, etc) at Cafe Mason down 1 blk on Mason between O'Farrell and Geary. Then a quick up to Post and SF Playhouse.
easy to find free parking on the streets near the theater.
Parking is cheap at Sutter-Stockton Garage.
It is in a hotel and up the stairs

If it's an early show, dine out afterwards for modern Asian cuisine, at E&O Trading Co. on Sutter. Yummy, even gluten free options!
You can inexpensively park at the Sutter/Stockton garage on Sundays.
Grand Cafe in the Hotel Monaco on Geary highly recommended.
Nice bar in the lobby where you can pre-order drinks for intermission! Walk out and its' waiting for you at your own little table, nice.
at Farallon in the bar...$6 bites & drinks until 7 pm.
