We attended a matinee and went down to Nordstroms after the show to eat.
The weather was windy and cold.. I wore slacks, a sweater and jacket. Dress nicely, it is, after all, theater!.
It's a doable walk to Tadich for the best fish dinners anywhere.

.YBCA is easily accessible by public transit, 2-3 blocks from Muni and BART. Also, MIssion-Fifth Garage has reasonable rates, but a bit longer walk...
The Yerba Buena area is surrounded by some of the best hotels and restaurants - we followed up by going to The View for drinks before dinner at Amber, both of which were lovely.
The weather was Sunny and brisk. I wore A warm outfit.
Stopping by The Flying Falafel before and eating in the plaza at The Jewish Contemporary Museum across from the theater makes a nice evening. The falafel and guys there are an event in themselves.
