Tips for San Jose Center for the Performing Arts
337 San Jose Center for the Performing Arts Tips
Parking is free on Sundays at meters.
The further you get from the theater the easier it is to park -- as long as you don't mind the walk.
We enjoyed Hoagy's -- this eatery is across from McDonald's on 3rd St. (I think)
The weather was great for winter!. I wore a sweater, leather jacket, etc .. but inside the theater is was HOT! So, dress in layers!!.
If you're going to any event at the San Jose Center for Performing Arts, consider having dinner and/or after dinner drinks at Paolo's. It's been there forever, and there's a reason for that! You can park in the structure, (enter on Woz Way), enjoy dinner, then just walk over the Guadalupe River bridge and you're at the Center! A whole evening of entertainment in one spot. :-)

They had mostly snacks and beverages available at the concessions. Didn't notice anything substantial to eat (wasn't looking, though). It's so close to downtown, so there's a lot of great dining options nearby for before or after.

We drove and parked for $10 in one the the many lots nearby. No problem finding a spot.

The weather was Sunny. I wore Converse, jeans, and a tshirt .
Try to not get close-to-aisle seats: sitting on heels & miss portion of stage action. As in any large theater & seats not close: take opera glasses.
I was told that the best parking is in the Adobe building, just across the street - $5 for the event (twice what we paid).
The weather was sunny. I wore slacks & dress shirt.
Parking at the Hyatt Place across the street is so easy then gather your friends in their little bar. Very close to venue and a pleasant place to grab a snack & glass of wine before the show.
Parked at the light rail station for free and rode in for a couple of bucks per person.
Parked next door at $6 for the event!
We were lucky to get street parking
Ours $15!!
Ck the smaller print on pkg lots: $4 or $5 AN HOUR, not FLAT RATE
