704 SAP Center at San Jose Tips
The weather was warm. I wore My Granddaughter wore a Princess outfit as did many other children..
Arrive an hour early to see the pre-show. If you buy those circus booklets the children can take them around and the performers will sign them. Bring your own sharpie just in case :)
The parking across from the street from SAP center is also 15 dollars. I would recommend just parking in the lot and saving yourself a long walk across a busy street with circus protesters trying to scare the children.
Had a great Margarita at the event by Richard…sharks fan as we'll; then went to a great Greek restaurant on San Fernando and 1st YUM!!!

Parking is EXPENSIVE. $20 for the one show parking, more expensive than parking in San Francisco for 2 hours. PARK somewhere else if possible.
Stars on Ice
Took the light rail but the ride home (to Mountain View) left at 1032 so it was a late night. They only run every 30 min that time of night.

Flames Eatery is my Preferred place to go before a game. Happy hour and Free parking! It's about a 20 minute walk to the SAP center.

The weather was sunny. I wore shirt and jeans.
The weather was 70 degrees. I wore Jeans.
There's free parking after 6pm on the meters, so if you're willing to walk a couple blocks, you can save yourself the $25 parking fee.
Went to San Pedro Square food and drink before the game to save on the higher vending prices.

Try and get there early (6:30 pm is the earliest they let in for 7:30 pm games usually). That way you have time to pick up your tickets (there was no line when I went, though). Also, you can grab some food/drinks, and find your seats.
Make sure you get to your seats on time, so you can watch the Sharks pre-game entrance -- it's EPIC.

SAP Center is in down town San Jose, which means that public transit (Caltrain, VTA light rails and busses) drop off close by. Caltrain's last train departs at 10:30 pm, which is perfect for when the game ends.
You can pay $10 - $20 to park in the nearby lots, which can be convenient if you're running late.

The weather was warm outside, but cold inside. I wore comfortable pants, flip flops, shirt, and of course my Sharks jersey and Sharks hat.
Make sure you bring a layer/jacket/jersey -- it will be cold, since it is an big ol' ice rink after all!
And, assuming you're rooting for the Sharks, make sure you come dressed in teal, or any Sharks attire!

There's tons of great restaurants nearby if you're willing to walk a few blocks. You can also make reservations to eat at The Grill, or just wait until you're inside and grab a bite to eat at any of the grills, stands, mini-restaurants.

We took the VTA. Winchester train drops you off a few blocks away.
The weather was warm in the afternoon; cool in the evening. I wore long pants and brought a sweatshirt.
Amici's pizza and The Spagetti Factory are the two best places near the venue to eat. Peggy Sue's on Park Ave is available for quick service. Definitely bring tour own drinks and snacks. A cotton candy costs $15. Totally a rip off.
The weather was warm when we arrived but cool when we departed. I wore jeans, a short sleeve shirt and sandles.

Protestors were outside. If what they saw really happens to the animals, I would think twice about going.
