Playground Restaurant steps away from the venue. Best restaurant in Santa Ana, and maybe all of Orange County.
Just across the street from the theater is a new food court - LOTS of unique places to eat at reasonable prices.
I wore a dress and heels and felt slightly over dressed but still comfortable. .
Parking was easy - we paid for valet - which only cost $8 and could stay in lot until 2 am - so we were able to enjoy the sites of downtown Santa Ana even after the show.
I wore comfortable clothes - yet some dressed in costume. .
Parking was a challenge as there was a street fair going on, but goldstar made us aware of that ahead of time, so my husband knew what to expect.
The weather was Cold. I wore A sweater, nice shirt, shorts, and boots .
If you purchase general admission tickets, get there way before the suggested time of 7pm. You will have a better chance of getting seats. Otherwise, you will have to stand for 1.50 hours on the floor before the show even starts.
The Playground restaurant is across the street and has the most amazing food I have tasted in Orange County. Fresh, local, and delicious.
The weather was cold . I wore jeans..a little underdressed.
Their kitchen makes the most unexpectedly delicious things and it doesn't get too busy so you won't have a long wait.
There is a bit of free parking in the lot in front, but it goes quickly. There is $4 parking for the evening in the structure nearby.
The weather was sunny until the sun set.. I wore heels, which I do not recommend with the GA tickets which are mostly standing room only..
Their kitchen is amazing. I had the fresh made hummus and shared a breakfast burrito with a friend. It was delicious! Though it was a little hard to juggle since the event was SRO.
If you're there in time to get a space in the lot in front of the theater, you only have to pay around a $1 to park because it's free after 8pm! If not, there is a structure on the other side of 4th that is $4 for the night. All meters in the area have a 2 hour limit and give you 20 minutes per quarter.
Park in the Parking Structure close by - the rates were reasonable and they have security guards walking the various levels.
Center/front seating is a good value...closer to the dancers and all the action/energy.
