interesting Thai restaurant right next door...dress should be warm/comfortable/casual.
It may get a bit chilly once the a/c kicks in. The actor is wearing a tux for quite some time so I'm sure he needed the cool tenp. Just bring a jacket to slip on or off whenever you need to.
The theater is intimate and a little stuffy. Dress light and take water. But the acoustics are great and not a bad seat in the small house!!
Parking is tough. There is a lot across the theater for $20. There is a multistory lot just East but it was full. Give yourself time because Downtown Santa Monica traffic on a weekend night is dreadful.
The play started late and had a 30+ intermission, so parking in the public lot across the street from the theatre was expensive.
Parking is easy in the public parking structure across the street from the theater.
It’s right off the 3rd street promenade. You can make a night out of it and have dinner before the show.

Parking was very convenient, it was directly across the street from the Santa Monica Playhouse
The weather was Pleasant. I wore Black Cotton long sleeve dress black ankle pumps with black leatger jacket.
You can park across the street in city parking structure 2hours free then 1 dollar an hour!
