Parking is a little tricky since it is attached to the Woodfield Mall. Allow yourself extra time to park.
Dine In at the Improv. Make reservations and get there early to eat. Really good food!
Parking is free, as the club is at a mall. However, all of a sudden there was "preferred parking" for $5.00. These were just parking spots closer to the door. There was still ample free parking, just get there early.
Get there early and negotiate seating! Food is pretty much bar food (nachos, etc).
Always arrive early because parking can be a challenge and seats are assigned on a first come first serve basis.
I would eat somewhere better beforehand and then just get drinks and maybe an app during the show.
The weather was good, evening show. I wore a suit to these occasions and nobody does. Men keep their hats and have no idea not to have on during performance..
GREAT FOOD and drinks. Have to make a reservation for that and get there early.
I wore jeans and a tee, scarf and bring a wrap or a jacket. Sometimes it gets chilly in there..
I wore nice clothes but no need. People were in jeans, shorts, tees, etc..
Make sure you get dinner tickets. With Dinner tickets you get to go 1.5 hours earlier and you get front row seats. If buying on Goldstar, you have to email Goldstar to have them make dinner reservations for you. It is free and worth it. The food is average priced, you get huge portions, and it tastes great.
Golf Rd. is still under construction leave early to avoid being late.
Remember to go right to the Box Office to exchange your Goldstar (make sure you mention Goldstar or they might look at you in a crazy fashion) voucher for your tickets before you get to the door.
