Always, always pre-0rder drinks for intermission. There are several bars set up, 2-3 on each floor.

The weather was Cool, Fall is setting in. I wore I was dressed casually, probably too much so in a nice blouse, jeans and nice shoes. Some people (few though) are dressed even more casually, but most get dressed up (cocktail dress, sports jacket for men or even jacket and tie). As it was opening night there were a lot who were very dressy even in formal wear..

The weather was in the high 60's w/showers. I wore a full length black velvet dress and jacket. Dress ran the gamut from very casual to very dressed up for this matinee performance..

Don't forget to order drinks for intermission before the performance. Intermissions are plenty long enough to enjoy a glass of wine, if you avoid the long lines and order before.

I wore a silk dress. Some people get really dressed up (think prom dress), while others are very casual (think jeans). I love that this is a great opportunity to get dressed up..

We enjoyed dinner at McMenamin's beforehand--it was fast, relatively inexpensive, delicious, and very near McCaw Hall.

Next time I'll call the Seattle Opera and ask for one of their prepaid parking tickets too. What a hassle finding street parking!

If you park in the Mercer parking garage across from McCaw Hall, there is a walk way with overhead which connects to the Hall so you don't have to get wet if it's raining.

The weather was rainy. I wore semi-formal attire -- short cocktail dress with faux fur wrap.
