The garage across the street is convenient, but it was also $20. Street parking would be cheaper but difficult to find.
The weather was Sunny. I wore A sweater and leggings. Most people were dressed quite casually, but I did attend at 2:00 showing. Evenings may be more dressy..
We prepaid parking but it was difficult to find the correct garage. Finding parking took longer than our drive from the Eastside. Better street signage would help.
Theer is disabled parking right in front of the theater! :)
We had a wonderful pre-show dinner at The Collections Cafe, which is attached to the Chihuly museum.
Plenty of snacks and drinks for purchase or you can go to dinner at a great Thai restaurant, Racha, or grab some pizza at Pagliacci. Both are walking distance a few minutes away.
We circled for street parking but ended up paying $15 to park in the Seattle Center garage across from McCaw Hall on Mercer St. There is a convenient skybridge to cross the street.
The weather was dry but cold. I wore slacks, blouse, sweater, coat and scarf.
If you are tall, you definitely don't want the front row balcony. I can't speak for the other seats, but I'm 5'3" and I had no legroom.
The Red Papaya is a great place to eat before the show. Right around the corner , reasonably-priced, good service and good food selection.
Many dining options on 1st and Queen Anne 3 blocks walk.
Before the show, curried mussels appetizer at Ten Mercer is amazing!!
