For over 80 years, Washington residents and visitors have been entertained at Seattle's magnificent Paramount Theatre. Millions have delighted in The Theatre's architectural majesty, viewed countless films, and enjoyed thousands of performers from all corners of the globe.

The Paramount Theatre opened in 1928 as the Seattle Theatre. Restored in 1995 at the cost of $20 million dollars, The Paramount Theatre has been brought back to its original splendor, just as Seattle audiences would have experienced it as they passed through the doors for the first time on March 1st, 1928.

Now operated by Seattle Theatre Group, the Theatre is thriving, hosting six performance series, including Broadway, Jazz, Silent Movies, Dance, Family and Comedy. In addition, it continues to present a wide variety of concerts that appeal to every appetite.

The convertible floor system at The Paramount Theatre provides the ability to configure the floor with theater seating, a ballroom, a dance floor or cabaret-style table seating. Built in Italy, this convertible floor is the only one of this size in the world.
