About Town Hall Seattle, Downstairs
The Downstairs at Town Hall Seattle is accessed through the Seneca Street entrance and is home to community programming, author readings, panels, and other events. A versatile, carpeted, open space with natural lighting and a small stage, the Downstairs is a perfect intimate and complementary venue to the Great Hall upstairs. Whether it’s a small event or a sold-out reading with 300 people, the Downstairs event space is configured to create an engaging experience for visitors. This 5,000-square-foot space also connects to the rest of the building via staircase and elevator. The Downstairs has self-serve concessions of coffee or tea, or a full cafe of snacks, soft drinks, beer and wine, and other items to enjoy during your event or after. The concessions are available at most Downstairs events.
