Parking is not a problem - plenty of free parking. Skokie Theatre website states you can park at Bank of America lot (next door); it was full when we arrived. We parked for free at the public lot across the street, next to Robert's office supplies.

Had a light dinner at EuroEcho cafe right across the street from the theater. The cafe has espresso drinks, sandwiches, salads, daily specials (which are a little heartier) and gelato. Good food, friendly staff, and a lovely patio for warmer weather.
ate at Libertad before the show and it was amazing (and very convenient) but you will need to make a resrevation
If you rely on Waze or Google Maps for directions, there's a strong chance you will be mislead. Enter the address as plain Lincoln Avenue, not North Lincoln & you should be okay. When you arrive, there's free street parking.
They have a modest bar, & some low scale candy (M&Ms, for instance) on a table in the lobby, & you can take your drinks into the theatre.
Right across the street is a restaurant called Libertad. Two people will spend $100 on a meal, including tax, tip & a drink. If you feel like spending that much before (or after) the show, you will be well satisfied. Look it up on Yelp.
I went to Libertad directly across the street for dinner...nice fusion Mexican dinner with small patio and bar...very good!

There is a small free parking lot across the street. Get there early if you want a space. Parking also on the street.
There is free public parking across the street on the northeast corner of Niles Center Road at Lincoln.
There is plenty of FREE parking in city lots within 2 blocks of the theater.
I had a 2 for 1 coupon from WBEZ, so dinner was in Evanston at the Stained Glass Bistro. Excellent, but not inexpensive. Libertad across the street is good, but overpriced. Good little steak house/Mexican restaurant next to Village Inn. You can BYOB there.
The weather was cold. I froze in my dress, light cardigan and dressy raincoat.. I wore Should have worn warm pants and turtleneck sweater,.
The map is a bit misleading as it seemed to indicate the Theatre was right there on your right as you turned onto Linclon Ave. from Gross point Rd. when it is several miles down. Parking is available in city lot next to theater and down the street which should be mentioned in their ad.Share anything else here. Just start typing...
went on a Sun. afternoon so parked in the bank's lot - which I'm not sure is always available at other times.
Across the street from the Skokie Theater is the always delicious Libertad. Small plates, inventive combinations. Reservations recommended.
