The weather was overcast. I wore Tank, short shorts, SNEAKERS!!! For all that is holy, wear sensible footwear with which you don't mind trudging through dirt and possibly mud. It gets dirty beneath ye olde skirts..
Premium parking is $15, but then you're right by the gates. Would not advise taking any sort of public transportation, if it even exists, out into the woods.
Get your tickets in advance lines for purchasing them are very long. Dress in costume to really enjoy the event.
Get yourself a B & B room to make it a great weekend. Greenwood Lake area is very charming. The Tuxedo area is also nice.

Bring your own snacks/water & food if you don't want to spend much Free Parking is about 1/2 mile from entrance but get there by noon.
Food is ok , you can carry your own food if you want as they don't check.
