The weather was Freezing. I wore Sport coat and light jacket. Brrr! 45 minutes in line!.
If you park underground at the stadium, leave your heavy coats in the vehicle. There was a slight breeze passing the upper level entrance for about 5 seconds going in and going out to elevator and that is all! That is a perk to the $30 lower level parking! 2 pretzels and nacho and Large soda was $35.00! Eat heavy beforehand.
There's plenty of parking nearby so don't feel like you have to park at the Verizon Center. Same goes for food. Eat a snack before you get there and then get a meal after the show on 7th St. or F St.
Green Turtle is next door; Clyde's is around the corner. Just go early because it's crowded. There's also a pizza place called Fuel across the street. Good garlic knots. Of course, you could eat inside.
Ate dinner at Carmines which is about 2 blocks from Verizon Center. Italian, family style dining. Portions are huge. A salad or appitizer and one dish is plenty for 3-4 people. Don't go if only 1 or 2 people unless you want to take home half your meal.
The weather was Rainy, I took a metro. Very easy access!. I wore a very casual attire-jeans, shirt..
Very pricey so eat b4 you come!
