Parking on side streets is fine in the evening.
If you like mussels, Granville Moore's (1238 H Street) is close by.
The Pug (1234 H Street) is casual place for a beer after the show.
The Atlas Room is a nice place for an upscale dinner nearby.
You can take the X2 bus straight here from Chinatown or Metro Center.
Sova (1359 H Street) is a nice play for a drink, or coffee, before or after the show.
They have sodas available to purchase at this show, but not beer or wine.

Parking is an issue but we came in the back way & parked on 11th just north of H with no problem.

Try Sticky Rice but don't eat in the bar or order the noodles.

Try Toki Underground but give yourself plenty of time
Warmly, the theatre is a little cold
Star and Shamrock just a few doors down.
The lobby was chilly but the theater temperature was fine.
Dangerously Delicious Pies right down the block is great but not many seating options.
We had no trouble parking on the street for the afternoon matinee.

Was nervous about neighborhood but liked it. Next up and coming area, lots of young people.
On the Atlas Theater website found tickets for parking at church across the street.
Area seems safe but parking on H St. tight. Not sure about neighborhood streets.
