We took the redline Metro to Gallery/Chinatown. The Spy Museum was about a block away.

The museum had a cafe where the food looked alright but overpriced. Instead we went a block away to where there is a delicious brewery called Gordon Beirsch and is worth every penny!

If you bring a lunch, go across the street to the Smithsonian Art Museum which has a spacious atrium with many tables and chairs available. Food also may be purchased. Keep your Spy Museum tickets handy for reentering after your lunch.

I wore Wear lose, comfortable clothing and especially comfortable shoes. There are only a few places to rest during this 2 hour tour..

The weather was Hot. I wore Capris and T-Shirt - would not wear anything difficult to move around in if you plan on getting involved in activities..

Ramen at nearby Daikaya was a hit post-visit. Matchbox Pizza is another good, family-friendly spot not far from the museum.

Shake Shack next door featured a great burger, Chicago hot dog and ice cream. Spy Museum allows re entry on the same day, so it's easy to catch lunch and go back.

Take your own lunch, or buy from McD's and eat it at the Portrait Gallery atrium. Quite pleasant and nice scenery.
