98 National Geographic Museum Tips
We ride the Orange Line so just walked a few more blocks from Farragut West Metro.
Didn't eat at the national geographic; i imagine they have a cafeteria
On your feet a long time staring and reading, so good shoes a must
Took metro, no problem
Tickets were half price from Goldstar
We biked, metroed, and/or walked. Much easier than trying to park there.
Don't buy you tickets from Goldstar--it's cheaper at the venue.
It was a miserably rainy day, but we took Metro and our umbrellas.
Go early in the day and you can park outside.

It was a miserably rainy day, so we drove and parked right across the street. Pricey, but worth it.
I travelled on the orange line to Farragut West and walked about 2-3 blocks to the museum.
The Blue line is about two blocks away.
We ate at Chop't. Very good salads.
If you have extra time, see the great photo exhibits in the back bldg across courtyard (free).
Go on Tuesday and see free films at noon in auditorium across courtyard.
