26 Spooky Action Theater Tips
- Casual 1
I didn't have much time so I dropped in at Bandit Taco, at New Hampshire and Florida Avenues. Delicious soft corn tofu taco for $4, piled high with lettuce and slivered radishes, and a creamy sauce! I will be back for a real meal!
IMHO best seats are front and back (of Church orientation) to see actors faces.
The Small Room at the Top of the Stairs
Ate at Pansaari on 17th Street. An easy walk from the theater, I recommend getting there at least 1.5 hours before a matinee curtain. The service is friendly and relaxed, and the atmosphere is funky and comfortable. But the food arrived too late for me to enjoy it so I got take-out. Have to admit it tasted pretty good even when it was cold - after the show!
There is free parking nearby, but we couldn't find it. Be sure to take a map with you!
Ate at Masa on 14th Street before the show. Delicious pacific rim-style tapas!
