Had a bad experience at a near-by restaurant. Ghibellina is crowded, noisy, and overpriced for mediocre food. Have since heard good things about Posto.
The weather was sunny - 60 degree day in January!. I wore Jeans and a nice sweater .
We used Parking Panda and paid $12 for a parking spot for the whole day. We visited the Renwick Gallery in the morning and walked 20 minutes to the theater.
After the show we walked across the street and had coffee and gelato at Dolcezza. It was wonderful.
There are stairs inside the theater, so be sure to ask if you need an accessible seat.
Order your intermission drinks/snacks in advance to avoid long lines. Water bottles and Studio Theater souvenir logo cups (with caps) are allowed in the theater.
Try the Barcelona Wine Bar before you go. Reservation recommended.
Le diplomat is on the next block and very good and very fun.
They sell drinks there. The bar is really limited and then they don't let you take it into the theater.
The weather was Mid 50s and Clear. I wore Jeans and a suit jacket. It was super casual there..
Park at WITH WASHINGTON PLAZA HOTEL. Walk to 3 short blocks 5-7min to the theater. Purchase a parking voucher at the theater for $13 only.
Estadio (across the street)
The weather was 50F. I wore boots/skinny pants/cardigan/jacket.
Cork up the road is great, be warned they won't seat you 'til you are all there.
A few parking spaces on the side roads - try 13th.
Anything would be fine, but I felt most people made a bit of an effort.
Parking garage that is recommended is $16
Estadio (tapas) across the street and Posto (Italian) next door are both tasty options
Ate outside at Rice before hopping across the street to the theater.
