Notti Bianche - It is one of the few options outside the KenCen, it is fine, not great, but meets the need.

Parking in building is convenient but $23. Expensive. Try local public garage or street meter parking.

Parking at the Kennedy center was $23 or $26. I would suggest parking at the lot across the street for $14.

The weather was the tail end of a heavly rainy day. Thank goodness the rains subsided significantly just in time to attend the event.. I wore a dressy blouse and slacks ensemble with matching slippers which was apropos for my expectation of this classy evening event. Of course people can dress as they feel..

It was a little disconcerting that the doors didn't open up until about 5 minutes before the show, but everyone got time to find their seats and take in the ambiance without feeling rushed. Ushers were excellent.

Ate at the KC Cafe on the Terrace Level. Reasonable prices, great food, and no waiting. Ideal for having a civilized meal before the show.

When you go to an event at the Kennedy Center, make certain to see what is playing at the Millenium Stage. A free performance is offered at 6:00 every night. I saw a wonderful set of Broadway show tune sung by very talented students from Catholic University.

The weather was warm. I wore dress/heels. Please don't insult performers by coming in shorts(OMG!!) or jeans. They have spent their lives creating a wonderful experience for your evening and you need to honor them by dressing UP!.

The weather was Lovely weather. But the weather has really nothing to do with the show.. I wore A nice dress. One always feels much better being a little dressed going out. Sweaters or flip flops are for the beach, not the Kennedy Center..

The food at the K.C. cafeteria has not improved, unfortunately. So if you can eat before, do so.

Try parking just across the street from the Kennedy Center Parking @ Watergate for $12, rather than the $22 charged by the Kennedy Center.

There are some good spots within a mile or so and once you have eaten at the Kenndy Center resturant you really need not repeat.
