The weather was Sunny and warm. I wore a wrap dress and heels. I recommend wearing something you would wear to work when attending the Kennedy Center. Look respectful..

There are so many great restaurants in the area, why purchase over priced food at the Kennedy Center. Go for drinks and food at Circa Foggy Bottom. Or get a great burger and shakes at BTS or enjoy food and drinks and ambience at District Commons. All are great options and are across the street from the Foggy Bottom metro stop. Take a moment to enjoy DC.

I drove and found street parking near GW. Be careful of the signs. The 2 hour restriction is through 6:30p...AND you must feed the meter through 9:59p. Use the Pango or ParkingMeter app and be done. The 6.50 I paid was less all of the parking around. Then take the Kennedy Center Shuttle to the venue and back. Done and done.

I wore a sweetheart jumpsuit w heels. I had a shawl just in case it was too cool, but the temperature was perfect..

The weather was rainy.. I wore a nice dress. It's typical Kennedy Center fare, with most people dressing casually..

Parking at Kennedy Center is RIDICULOUS. Cheaper ($10) across from exit from KC parking garage in Watergate complex.

The food in the casual restaurant is always good (especially the salad bar), no wasted time and generally a comfortable space to sit and enjoy a light meal with a friend.

We ate at the terrace restaurant which is always a treat. There is another self serve restaurant at the terrace level which is quite nice as well. Both are aware that you are trying to get to a show so the service is geared to making sure you get out in time.

The weather was light rain, but mild. I wore a sweater, dress shirt & tie with dress pants and shoes. Saw other people dressed casual and some really dressy. Broad selection.

We had dinner at Kabob Bazaar right across Clarendon metro, parked our car there for free and hop in the metro.

Free shuttle to Metro after performance. Leaves from right side of entrance. Took 20 minutes to get a taxi, so next time we'll go to Metro.

Take the Metro to Foggy Bottom and take the free Kennedy Center Shuttle back and forth. It was really quick service.

The new Campono's bistro across from KC is a great pre-show venue. Not many tables so be prepared to wait, eat outside or share space at the one large table. The gelato is terrific!
