Pickup location for me was Union Station, Washington DC. Parking for 10-24 hours was $24.00 and well worth it if you are in a group of 2 or more.

On site they have a cafe, marketplace - where you can get almost anything from something to drink to a decent priced lunch. I got a kids sized chicken finger combo which was filling and there was a Pizza place as well where I did try the pasta which was good. Upstairs in the marketplace they have additional seating for group picnics.

The weather was Sunny and around 53 degrees. I wore Dual ski jacket, snow pants, one pair of wool socks, helmet and gloves. My gear was perfect, but after a few times down the mountain we took a break and I had to unzip because it was pretty warm. Snow goggles are not provided as part of the rental. You may need them as it was bright due to the reflection of the snow. .

The weather was Sunny hot. I wore Swim shorts and a swim top. Don’t bring anything extra that you can’t put in the water. Wear closed toed swim shoes .
