93 Washington Convention Center Tips

- Dine before you go 2
- Food and drinks for purchase 1
There were small samples of candies and cheese at travel booths. We had coffee at Compass inside the Convention Center. While there is an interior small food court, there were roughly only 3 booths. We opted to eat just across from the bldg at The Capital Burger’s Slider Happy Hour. Burgers were filling, just too rare for me on brioche style buns. The drinks were the absolute stand-out stars at this happy hour! Hot honey Margaritas - super delish and spicey!! Aperol cocktail is lovely too!!
Washington DC Travel & Adventure Show
Take the metro. There is a metro station by the convention center. If the connection is not good, then get off at Metro Center and walk 10 minutes to the DC Convention Center
Eat before you go or eat at one of the restaurants outside the convention center. Expensive.
I would recommend arriving there early to avoid the crowds of people and have the opportunity to talk to travel agencies about their group tours.
