About Saint Andrew's Hall
Originally built by boisterous Scotsmen looking for a place to party, Saint Andrew’s Hall has since become one of Detroit’s premier concert halls. A Motown legend in its own right, this iconic venue has hosted a multitude of live acts (Bob Dylan, Paul Simon and Nirvana have all rocked the Hall at one point). Today, St. Andrew’s is actually three unique venues in one location. The largest, the Main Ballroom, features a hardwood dance floor and a 35-foot-long bar as well as a unique VIP balcony. Meanwhile, on the lower level, The Shelter offers a private bar, stage, cabaret seating, a DJ booth, red curtains and private rooms. Finally, the Burns Room keeps it classy upstairs with hardwood floors, chandeliers and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Congress and the RenCen.
