Great local for theater. Friendly hosts, allow time for before hand for a drink or snack.
The theaters are about a mile and a half out of the Olney Village, not at the town crossroads. Across from Olney Ale House.
During intermission, light snacks and drinks available for purchase. For full dinner experience, try the Olney Ale House across the street.
Parking lot fills up fast when all 3 theaters have performances. Get there early so you don't have to park on the lawn/gravel.
Park around the back for the closer parking to the lab theater.
A Christmas Carol
The weather was pleasant. I wore casual slacks and top and light coat - no room for coat over back of chair as seating very tight .
Had a great dinner before at Mannequin Pis. Delicious food, Sort of "spotty" service (not bad, or unpleasant, just not terribly professional) In a small strip mall maybe 10 minuets from the theater.
The Mulitz-Gudelsky Theatre Lab does not have reserved seats. However, the front rows are reserved for people with mobility issues. A few late-comers were seated in front also.
The play is set up as a football game, including a pregame show. While the play doesn't start until 7:45, the doors open at 7:30, which is also when the pregame show starts. To be part of the whole experience of the play, I suggest arriving in time to walk through those doors at precisely 7:30.
