There are elevators for special needs or just can’t do stairs like me. Just ask!!!
Looked at parking near 5th Avenue. Suggested an app for parking. Used garage at 1301 6th Avenue. $5.75! Attendant was very helpful. Turn right when walking out of garage onto 6th. R onto University, R onto 5th. When exiting garage after play, can turn immediately left onto University to enter NB I-5! Very easy.
We took Uber. Saved a lot of stress and was probably cheaper than parking.
Olympic Garage on Seneca and 6th has week night parking after 5PM for $10 and is close to the theater. If elevators are needed, be sure to ask 5th Ave Theater staff....you need to enter another building.
RN74 is close by and offers "American" food with a French twist.
The weather was Sunny, chilly . I wore A black knee length dress and a vintage leopard coat and heals. I believe going to the theatre is a special occasion and dressing up is required. .
We ate at The Elephant and Castle pub, just across the road from 5th Ave. It was good.
The weather was Rainy. I wore Smart jeans, nice sweater, nice shoes, jacket and scarf..
I never pay full price for theater tickets because goldstar.com always has such deals and GREAT seats.
Ate at Palomino Grill a block away. They also give a 10% discount if you are attending a downtown show. Food & service were awesome. Made a reservation online same day as tickets.
I rode the bus downtown and back home. No fuss, no parking, no high fees, it was wonderful!
I hopped on the 545 route along 4th/ 5th Aves for Thursday's matinee, and enjoyed happy hour at McCormick's on 4th afterwards while waiting out rush hour.
