Please, stay in your seat and applaud for the hard working singers, dancers, musicians and conductor. Only in the USA do many in the audience jump up and run out the moment the curtain comes down. Truly insulting to the performing company.
The weather was Cold . I wore All black, blouse, pants, sensible shoes. A wide variety of dress. You do not need to dress up to attend the Met Opera. .

Ate across the street from the MET at Rosa Mexicano - Affordable with OUTSTANDING food & service. Don't miss the table-side made fresh guacamole!!
The weather was Chilly. I wore A suit and tie....but a Jacket and Dockers works!!! Try not to wear dirty jeans or frayed tee shirts. It’s a really special evening!!!.

Park at a chain parking lot (like Icon), and get a deal online. I got parking for $28 by requesting a coupon be emailed to me.

Great to have dinner at the restaurant inside - have the first and second course before the show and your dessert awaits with coffee on first interval. Formal dining and not cheap - but very pleasant experience, convenient, pretty setting - and good food.
