I tried to go to the Shake Shack (which is suppose to have reasonable prices) but there was a line extending out their door into the cold weather and I didn't have the time for the wait.
So, I went to a usual favorite--a deli next to Carmine's. Good food at good prices. I usually get theit Pastrami sandwich but they sell entrees, too.

they have drinks and snacks but very expensive. $5.00 for candy $10 for a drink thats refillable
theres a parking garage next to the theatre.
I wore sneakers and comfortable clothes. Everyone wears what they want. No dress code!.
Lots of places to eat. Get their early (5:30 -6:00) and lots of choices of places to eat.
The bus terminal is 1 1/2 blocks from the theatre. Great move to take the bus from Edgewater to theatre and back. $1.90 each way for seniors.

The candy & drinks are veryyyy expensive! Ten for a cup of soda & five for a bottle of water. We went to the Hershey store before the show ;-)

Used groupon parking voucher, it was a great help.
Lots of places nearby...ate at JOHNS PIZZA across the street
Easy walk from penn station
Arrive early enough to pick up your ticket, refresh, and get to your seat.
Dress appropriately for the theater.
This was a one night only event so no need to give any tips.
