Parked at the PMI garage across from the Main entrance of 17th. $15 flat rate after 6pm.
I believe NatGeo has free parking (M St. entrance) in the evenings...might want to give them a call
Make sure to see Polar Obsession, a free photo exhibit. Amazing! Ask a guard to point the way.
Park in the garage off of L St., not the one opposite NG on 17th, it's cheaper.
We ate at Au Bon Pan and it was excellent !

Take Metro - either Farragut North or West - its a two block walk.
They have a free coat check-take advantage, its rather warm with all the people
Learn about China. It will be too late when the planes are overhead.

Take public transportation. Farragut North on the red line or Farragut west on the blue and orange.
Lots of sandwich shops nearby. I recommend Pot Belly on L and 17th.
