Set in a rural Georgia fishing lodge, this farcical comedy follows Charlie, an Englishman too shy to engage with other vacationers. He's seemingly rescued by a fellow guest, who suggests to the others that he's a foreigner who knows no English. But when his cabin-mates begin to unleash a torrent of their deepest secrets and devious -- and possibly dangerous -- scandals to him, Charlie discovers an adventurous streak he never knew he had. Written by Larry Shue (The Nerd), The Foreigner won two Obie Awards and two Outer Critics Circle Awards as Best New American Play and Best Off-Broadway Production.
