8th Annual San Diego Wine, Cheese and Chocolate Festival
For the eighth year in a row, the Women's Museum of California gathers together more than 30 wine, cheese and chocolate makers for a festive evening under the stars to kick off the summer season. You'll be mixing and mingling on the grassy North Promenade at Liberty Station, sipping wines from California vineyards and sampling tasty treats from local vendors and private chefs. Plus, you can dance to the music of Sue Palmer, San Diego's "Queen of Boogie Woogie," and her All-Girl Motel Swing Band. In addition to 12 food and wine tastings, you'll also score a reserved seat at a table with other fun foodies. This popular benefit raises money to support the Women's Museum, which is one of only five in the U.S. to feature female-centered history. Proceeds will be used for museum collections, research, cultural and educational programming about women's history and more, so come out to enjoy some delicious wine and tasty treats and support a worthy cause at the same time.
